Quintin Kolt

Born Ronald Quintin Adams to Catherine Alice Galyan and Ronald Adams, Kolt,  grew up for the first 5 years in Cleveland, Ohio until a separation of parents. He moved back to his home state of Washington with his mother and resided in Issaquah.  At the age of 10 they moved to a small town 16 miles outside of Tri-Cities, Washington called Benton City.  Kolt participated in football, basketball, and track.

After Graduating high school in 2006 he began his career as an artist and wrote his first song to the beat of T.I.’s “Top Laid Back” called “Tip Your Hat”. Linking up with Brook Floyd and Rainmaker Studio’s he recorded his first studio album entitled Welcome to the Big Leagues in 2007. Brooke introduced Kolt, to other local artist’s and they formed a group called ERz consisting of Francois, Avery Azylum, and Alphy Nics.

It was following a crowd pleasing performance with Twista in 2008 the group ERz disbanded as each artist began solo carriers.  Francois and Kolt  salvaged the name ERz  and moved to Tucson, Arizona.  In 2009 after recording “BE MY” they gained regional recognition in Arizona but the duo ended up splitting apart and Kolt headed back to his hometown  Tri-Cities, Washington.

Steven Moore owner of  Black Rhino Records approached Kolt and asked him to join Black Rhino Records LLC. Kolt accepted the offer, the two formed a power house team. In February 2010 Kolt formed Money Over Misery ENT. June 2010 Kolt wrote and leaked “Wiggle”, which spread fast to local clubs and was placed on Coast2Coast Mixtapes volume 158. “Wiggle” the radio version was released nationally on iTunes in August 2010.

Between the years of 2011 to 2014 Kolt was on a solo career while releasing several singles in the state of Washington and touring clubs through out the state as well.  In the late spring Alphy Nics a local singer and fellow ex label mate of the disbanded ERz approached Kolt and asked him to join a new group of eclectic Hip-Hop, R&B, & Rap artists.  He was putting together under the name A.N.E. A New Era ENT. he asked to merge the  Money Over Misery name with his label.  Kolt accepted the offer and joined, bringing in Avery Azylum (also  formally of  ERz) and a new female vocalist Jai Kelli. Kolt and Alphy Nics worked on several records as a collective whole and a collaboration with Jai Kelli and Avery Azylum.

In August 2015 Jai Kelli and Kolt wrote and recorded their new single “GOOD DAY”. Co produced my “WANZ” of Macklemore “Thrift Shop” which played on local and national radio station in regular rotation and a musci video gaining rapid attention and views.In December of 2016 Quintin Kolt Signed with West Coast Records  Kolt is currently working on a follow up single and a new EP entitled “Hard 2 Hear You”.
